Novocarbo was proud to give two presentations at the Bio360 conference in Nantes. Both Venna von Lepel, as well as Benjamin Reinke presented on the current state of, as well as the future of the carbon economy. Venna Lepel spoke as part of the “Biochar – today’s and tomorrow’s applications” session, where she shared what Novocarbo is doing to not only continually develop the technology behind biochar, but in developing new use cases as well. Venna von Lepel was joined by a number of business leaders, academics as well as journalists in the carbon economy.
Benjamin Reinke, Novocarbo’s Head of product development spoke in the session titled “Biobased materials for construction – let’s build” – sharing insight into some of the industry specific solutions being developed. The importance of developing new, more sustainable building materials was highlighted, with the construction sector currently responsible for around 40% of the world’s CO2 emissions. We are proud to be able to contribute to these high level discussions on how to build a better future, and we are excited to help bring innovative biochar solutions to the world.
