The new and so far largest Carbon Removal Park of Novocarbo will be built in Bochum (Germany) in close cooperation with the municipal utilities of Bochum (Stadtwerke Bochum).

In a video interview, Elke Temme, Managing Director of Stadtwerke Bochum, explains what potential for municipal utilities she sees in climate-neutral heat generation through biochar production. She also gives an assessment of what in her opinion needs to happen for the heat transition to gain momentum.
