NovoCarbo was part of this year’s Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD), being exclusively featured by the “Energiewende Tours” and offering a virtual sightseeing of our PyCCS facilities to attendees. The sessions gave insights into how the production facilities function on a day to day basis, as well as what materials and products can be produced. Our CCO Venna Lepel was joined by Dr. Sebastian Voswinckel, Deputy Head of PtX-Lab, Dr. Peter Sponholz, CTO of APEX Group and Dr. Sandra Niebler, Head of Commercial & Economics Raffinerie Heide GmbH.
The Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue is a yearly gathering of some of the leading figures in the renewable energy and sustainability spaces. It welcomes business leaders, politicians and academics at the leading edge of the energy transition. Giving these attendees insight into the ins and outs of the biochar economy was a great opportunity to grow awareness among those already in the sustainability space. We look forward to sharing the exciting advancements being made at our Pyrogenic Carbon Capture and Storage facilities at more events going forward.
