Dabei wird Biomasse zun\u00e4chst entgast und anschlie\u00dfend unter Druck und Temperaturen von 500 \u00b0C &#8211; 750 \u00b0C unter gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6glichem Sauerstoffentzug in Kohlenstoff umgewandelt.<\/p>\n<p>Durch diesen Prozess wird verhindert, dass ein gro\u00dfer Teil des eingefangenen CO\u2082 in die Atmosph\u00e4re entweicht. Eine Tonne Pflanzenkohle bindet je nach Kohlenstoffgehalt und Weiterverwendung etwa 2,5-2,8 Tonnen CO\u2082eq.<\/p>\n<p>Bei unserem Pyrolyseprozess entstehen im Wesentlichen zwei Produkte, die dann auf unterschiedliche Weise gespeichert werden k\u00f6nnen: eine feste Form von Kohlenstoff, n\u00e4mlich Pflanzenkohle, die beispielsweise als Bodenverbesserer dient und eine dauerhafte Kohlenstoffsenke bildet. Das zweite Produkt ist Prozessw\u00e4rme (Pyrogase), die eine regenerative Energiequelle zur weiteren W\u00e4rmenutzung darstellt.<\/p>\n                                                                                                                        \n                      \n                            <a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-1\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-1\">Was ist Pflanzenkohle?<\/a>\n                              <a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-1\"  tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-1\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n                                                                                    <p>Pflanzenkohle entsteht durch thermische Karbonisierung (Pyrolyse) von Biomasse wie z.B. Restholz, Heckenschnitt sowie anderer biogener Reststoffe z.B. aus der Lebensmittelindustrie. Durch ihre por\u00f6se Struktur kann Pflanzenkohle Wasser oder N\u00e4hrstoffe speichern und als Filtermaterial eingesetzt werden. Diese Eigenschaften machen sie zu einem wahren Allesk\u00f6nner, der zum Beispiel in der Landwirtschaft, Industrie und in der Bauwirtschaft eine wichtige Rolle spielen kann. International ist Pflanzenkohle unter dem Begriff Biochar bekannt.<\/p>\n                                                                                                                        \n                      \n                            <a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-2\">Was macht Pflanzenkohle zu einem \u201eBodenverbesserer&#8220;?<\/a>\n                              <a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\"  tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-2\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n                                                                                    <p>Pflanzenkohle unterst\u00fctzt den zus\u00e4tzlichen Aufbau von Humus im Boden und verhindert die Auswaschung von Phosphor und Nitrat. Auch werden Lachgasemissionen auf landwirtschaftlich genutzten Fl\u00e4chen verringert und der Bedarf an Bew\u00e4sserung minimiert. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wird die Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit von Pflanzen gegen\u00fcber Pilzkrankheiten erh\u00f6ht.
