Are you ready to optimize your energy needs for the future?

We design a green "Heat-as-a-Service" solution for your production site.

Novocarbo's Energy-as-a-Service solution enables companies and municipal utilities to integrate green heating into their operations without having to make the upfront investment.

Your Benefits:

  • Renewable heat

  • No investment costs

  • No maintenance and servicing effort

  • Stable price in the long term

  • Independence from fossil fuel market

  • You have minimal effort: Novocarbo takes over the investment costs, the construction and the operation of the plant, the procurement of the sustainable biomass as well as the final transactions.

Novocarbo's unique product concept drives decarbonization

We operate carbon removal parks that will remove over 6,000 tonnes of CO2 per park. We use state-of-the-art pyrolysis technology to process plant residues into biochar.

The pyrolysis process generates renewable surplus energy. We offer this energy to industrial companies or municipal utilities in the form of Heat-as-a-Service partnerships.

Heat-as-a-Service:
Benefit from our renewable heat solution

Our Carbon Removal Parks are modular concepts and have an annual heat production capacity of at least 18,000 MWh, which we can provide in the form of hot water, warm water, or process steam.

Municipalities and cities

Listen to our client, the municipal utility of Grevesmühlen, who receives green exhaust heat from our Carbon Removal Park Baltic Sea directly into their district heating network.

“I see great potential for small and medium sized municipal utilities because this concept can be easily copied and scaled. The energy supplier only needs to construct the heat transport pipeline and saves additional investment costs. For the location aspect in general, all that is required is a B plan site in an industrial park and an existing local or district heating network.”

And here's how it works:

You decide on a
Heat as a Service partnership with us

We develop

Our experts select the best pyrolysis technology for you and develop a concept for a park tailored to your needs with a suitable heat solution.

We build

We construct our Carbon Removal Park on a suitable site: either on your premises or on a nearby property acquired by us. The holistic planning and implementation is in experienced hands with us.

We operate

Our qualified staff ensures optimized and reliable operation of the pyrolysis plant – from the purchase of biomass to smooth production in 24/7 operation.

You receive heat from
renewable energy

What we need:

  • A heat consumption that is as continuous as possible

  • A site of 5,000 m² and larger in the immediate surroundings of the heat transfer point
